Lawless DBM

Biography
Lawless Da Bidness Man is a Hip-Hop/Rap artist born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. His music career began at the young age of 13 under the name J-Ones where he featured on an album with a local group called Infinity Gauntlet Fam. The album went on to be released in stores and was Lawless’ first real taste of music success. This along with much local acclaim inspired him to continue along his musical path. Lawless would then go on to perform at local open mics, talent showcases and rap battles for the next few years in and around the city of Jacksonville before becoming the flagship artist of the Jacksonville based DVD series: Battle 4 The South which featured up & coming artists throughout the Southeastern region where Lawless would travel along with the DVD and its producers to battle other artists on the DVD. He has appeared at car shows, clubs, outdoor events and more. By the age of 18 Lawless would become 1/3 of the successful Jacksonville rap group, OneBlood. Along with group members Swordz & Gully The Gangsta. The group would perform regularly in Jacksonville nightclubs and built a sizeable following throughout the South later collaborating with DJ Bigga Rankins and releasing the first Real Nigga Radio Mixtape of the later well-known series. After a short run of about 4 years the group & label would disband due to management issues. However, the group members all remain friends to this day and are now known as Hunnid Gang – however they have yet to record any subsequent projects together. As a solo artist Lawless took to the road to take his talents outside of Florida. In 2005 while in Killeen, Texas Lawless generated a noticeable buzz in the city gaining the attention of several labels and groups locally. He joined with MJ Productions (Management & Booking) shortly after being named the BET Spotlight Artist of the Year, who booked regular shows throughout Texas for him as well as collaborated with Green City Records & BlackOut Entertainment on a few mixtape projects that were hosted by DJ Dollaz N $ense of Houston, TX. After several years in Texas performing and making a name for himself Lawless was invited to relocate to New York under Debbie Micelli Management where he was featured on Extravagangsta Radio as well as some other radio and media platforms in New York. He collaborated with several acts and even performed in an in-studio session with the Wu-Tang Clan developing a friendship with rapper Shyheim in the process. By 2008 Lawless was performing and throwing parties in Atlanta alongside business partner Steven Pitts aka Steve Nash – he has since then been on an independent music path launching his Live The Dream music imprint in 2010, having appeared in and worked in both Los Angeles and Houston markets Lawless continues to make music today.
